TGMI designed and built their first Tailgate Mulcher straw blower in 1987. Today, over 20 years later, TGMI continues to build the popular 18 H.P. Tailgate Mulcher and has expanded its product line to include larger sized straw blowers such as the Model 35, as well as 3 different size models of Aqua Mulcher hydroseeders.

The Tailgate Mulcher is the leading standard for compact straw blowing equipment. We have maintained this lead with constant innovation, continual consumer outreach and outstanding technical support. The Tailgate Mulcher Model 18 fits the needs for a compact straw blower that can fit into the bed of a truck or the back of a trailer, while the Model 35 is ideal for larger commercial type jobs. TGMI also offers a Straw Crimper for tucking straw fibers into the seed bed to protect from high winds and for additional erosion control.

The Aqua Mulcher hydroseeding line features 3 different sized units, 500 gallon, 800 gallon and 1200 gallon. Each unit features paddle agitation for quick mixing times, and an independent variable speed hydraulic drive for both the agitation system as well as the spray pump. Additionally, both the paddle agitator and the spray pump feature forward and reverse controls, to mix hydromulch loads faster and to clear hose lines and flush hoses. Available skid or trailer mounted, with spray towers as a standard feature, the Aqua Mulcher is the ideal hydroseeding unit for both small and large jobs.
